Procurement FAQ

Questions buyers ask before sampling.

Is this lens tinted?

No. It is a clear ophthalmic lens. The blue or purple appearance comes mainly from the coating reflection rather than a sunglass tint.

Does blue cut mean UV420?

Not automatically. Blue-filter terminology varies by material and coating system. State the required wavelength and transmission target so the selected program can be tested and quoted correctly.

Is HMC the same as blue cut?

HMC describes a multi-layer anti-reflective coating system. Blue-filter performance may come from the lens substrate, coating, or both, so the required construction should be confirmed for each order.

Are 65 mm and 70 mm both available for every power?

Availability depends on the power matrix, design, and coating program. Send the required sphere and cylinder range for confirmation.

Can we approve coating color before ordering?

Yes. Representative samples should be checked for reflection color, residual lens color, coating cosmetics, and pair consistency before bulk supply.

Can private-label packaging be supplied?

Yes. Lens envelopes, labels, inner boxes, and cartons can be discussed after the specification, artwork, and quantity are approved.
